The Department of Energy's Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER) supports the Environment for Analysis of Geo-Located Energy Information (EAGLE-I) an interactive geographic information system that ties together a variety of data sources into one visualization platform, providing U.S. federal government agencies and non-federal partners with near-real-time situational awareness of the U.S. energy sector. EAGLE-I presents these stakeholders with a common operating picture of power outage treads and affected areas, electric, petroleum, and natural gas infrastructure, and relevant threats and hazards. The platform's Mapper and Reports enable users to view and combine this data in a variety of ways, to enhance mitigation strategies; build and validate response capabilities; and improve access to recovery services.
